· Personality - Born to “just another Slytherin family,” Sophia was treasured as the only daughter of the Roper’s in the last couple of generations. Sophia is very much spoiled, knows it, and likes it. While she loves spending galleons on herself, she enjoys giving just as much. Her friends are practically rich as Sophia is when she is around, buying them whatever. She loves to be around people, talking to people, and listening to people. She doesn’t bother herself with alliances, nor does she really care. Sophia can be the sweetest girl, but turn your back on her and your back may be broken. Very stubborn and rather manipulative, once you get on her bad side, there’s no turning back. Charismatic and cunning, Sophia has a way with words and wit. However, she can be indecisive at times and relies on her friends for guidance when she’s lost. She’s not afraid to ask for help though once she puts her mind to something, she won’t quit. · Astrology - Slytherin Aquarians are lucky. They have inner drive, determination, and great ambition; they also have brilliance, cleverness, and an almost total disregard for "what everybody thinks," which means they can go for their dreams without caring if other people mock them or consider them strange. Marcus Roper came from a respectable pureblood family, perhaps not as popular as some families but still known. Marcus was raised as a gentleman, to respect others even his enemies, although while growing up he somtimes forgot about that. He went to Hogwarts as his parents did and was sorted into Slytherin. There he was an excellent students and studied hard, but still managed to have fun and perhaps cause a little chaos within Hogwarts. It was after graduation that he went to France for the summer. There he stayed with a family that had been friends with his parents for years. While he was there, he ment a beautiful woman named Joelle Dupont. She was would be going into her final year at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Within his training for work at the Ministry he kept in contact with Joelle and would visit her during the Holidays. It didn't take long for the two to start dating. It also didn't take long after Joelle graduated that Marcus had asked her to marry him. It was on October 11th, 1980 that Joelle gave birth to a baby girl, Sophia Michelle Roper. The family currently lives in Yorkshire, Barnsley. Like most pureblooded children, Sophia's parents had hired her a tutor from the Ministry of Magic to teach Sophia the basics that every child should know. While Sophia's name was down for Beauxbatons and Hogwarts, the parents had decided to let Sophia make the choice and she had decided that she would rather attened Hogwarts, which was perfectly okay with her parents. When Sophia arrived at Hogwarts she awaited along with the other children and when her name was called, she eagerly went up to the stool. When the Sorting Hat was placed on her head, it didn't take long for it to decide to place her into Slytherin. Pleased with this choice, she jumped off and took her spot next another first year like herself, Astoria Greengrass. Which the two became quick and best friends shortly after. Her past years at Hogwarts have been like any other. Full of homework and student drama. Sophia, who's strict parents like to keep an eye on Sophia and how she's doing with her school work, does her best to continue to have good marks in her classes. But like every other student, she struggles a bit as the classes get harder and currently does her best to keep up on her schoolwork for her O.W.L.s which her parents had expressed already that if she were to get anything below Exceeds Expectations, they would be taking away her allowence. However, if needed she does go to her friends for help, so she never haves too much trouble. With her fifth year, she does her best to keep a focus on her friends and school, but with the war brewing and troubls at Hogwarts, she sometimes finds it hard to stay in her safe-shell. |
